January 14, 2015

Good day everyone,

So since this is going to be covering my car and my build, let me lay out the details. I bought it bone stock at 75k miles. Its survived a couple long trips from Southern California to Oregon, and to Vegas. It's comfortable and reliable, and pretty fast. Stock, it has a 5.7L LS6, a Temec T56, and a junk differential.

Current modifications are
1&3/4 headers and 3 inch exhaust
Polyurethane 95a motor mounts
New transmission mount
95a rear subframe bushings and differential bushing
Tilton clutch master cylinder (Thanks Jaysen)
Replaced stock LS6 slave
LS9 clutch, 12 flywheel
Hurst shirt-throw shifter modified to fit (Thanks Brian).

Very soon some more stuff is coming. I sourced a Magnuson MP112 supercharger from a C5 corvette. After I put a new intake manifold on, and a new jackshaft, it should fit my application. I will be running e85 for fuel. The Maggie will be getting a 2.8 front pulley and I will be keeping the 1:1 rear gear setup, this should yeild around 10psi, which I feel is a decent start. I already have a 320lph pump, a 6micron filter, and regulator that will get enough fuel to the injectors and is compatible with the ethanol. Speaking if injectors, I'll be going stock LS9 injectors for now.

As of a few days ago, I have had a pretty nasty brake line leak at the driver's side front caliper. Got a new OEM line to get me by until the new stainless braided lines come in.

The new master cylinder:

Car is coming apart.

A look from the rear to the front under the car, rear subframe, driveshaft, trans are all out... Ready to go back togeher
